Never forget: health is above everything
Food for thought on health:
Many times we hear: our most precious treasure is our health. Is our life really in accordance with it? Do we really do everything we can to preserve our health? Unfortunately not.
Many of us realize too late what they have missed to stay healthy. How much simpler and cheaper it would have been to avoid the corruption of health than to face degraded ability to work and to live family life, and to stagger from one doctor to another, from one hospital to another for a cure. Over the millennia, mankind has gained invaluable knowledge on experimental curing. These long proven pieces of knowledge sank into ignorance in the course of the last century and by today we almost exclusively rely on medicines of the modern science. At the same time, the world around us has been going through dramatic changes. This evolution of civilization provides us not only with never seen convenience, but also with a challenge the human body is not able to adapt to. The spread of environmental pollution and chemical materials – like drugs –, the environment made of metal and concrete, the electro-smog of electric equipments and the alterations in nutrition are all but faces of external impact affecting human organs that evolved through eons. This explains the recent waves of new illnesses: high blood pressure, allergy, asthma and obesity of the idle are all examples of “civilization diseases” that were virtually unknown before. The harmful external impacts can be compensated to a degree with health preserving instruments.
